Supplier Code of Conduct
Last updated: 2026-01-01
Not legal advice. This is a generic template provided as a starting point for discussion with qualified counsel. Before publishing, have it reviewed and adapted to Southpaw Air's specific corporate structure, jurisdictions of operation, and regulatory obligations (FAA Part 135, DOT, CCPA, GDPR, etc.). Do not rely on it as-is.
Southpaw Air expects its suppliers — including operators, ground handlers, vendors, and service providers — to share our commitment to safety, integrity, and lawful conduct. This Code summarizes those expectations.
Safety
Suppliers operating aircraft on our behalf are expected to maintain current FAA Part 135 certification (or equivalent foreign authority), independent third-party safety ratings (ARGUS Platinum, Wyvern Wingman, IS-BAO, or equivalent), and rigorous internal safety management systems.
Ethics and compliance
Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws, including anti-corruption, anti-bribery, sanctions, and trade-controls regulations. Gifts and entertainment must be reasonable, transparent, and never intended to improperly influence a business decision.
Labor and human rights
Suppliers must respect the human rights of their workforce, comply with applicable labor laws, prohibit forced and child labor, and maintain safe working conditions.
Environmental responsibility
Suppliers are encouraged to minimize environmental impact through fuel efficiency, sustainable aviation fuel adoption where feasible, and responsible operational practices.
Confidentiality and data protection
Suppliers must protect Southpaw and member information consistent with our data protection requirements and applicable law.
Reporting concerns
Concerns regarding supplier conduct may be reported confidentially to ethics@southpawair.com.
