Not legal advice. This is a generic template provided as a starting point for discussion with qualified counsel. Before publishing, have it reviewed and adapted to Southpaw Air's specific corporate structure, jurisdictions of operation, and regulatory obligations (FAA Part 135, DOT, CCPA, GDPR, etc.). Do not rely on it as-is.
These Passenger Notices summarize key information for passengers on flights arranged by Southpaw Air. Operative agreements between Southpaw Air, the charterer, and the operator govern in case of conflict.
Air carriage and operator role
Flights are operated by FAA Part 135 certificated air carriers (or equivalent under applicable foreign regulation). Southpaw Air acts as an agent for the charterer in arranging flights; the operator is the direct air carrier responsible for the operation of the flight.
Identification and security
Passengers must present valid government-issued identification at check-in. Additional documentation may be required for international travel (passport, visa, customs forms). Operator and crew may decline carriage of any passenger or item for safety or legal reasons.
Baggage
Baggage allowances depend on aircraft type and trip configuration. Hazardous materials are not permitted on board. Liability for baggage loss or damage is limited as set forth in operator and applicable regulatory provisions.
Conduct on board
Passengers must comply with crew instructions at all times. Disruptive or unsafe conduct may result in diversion, refusal of further service, and notification of law enforcement.
Schedule changes and delays
Flight schedules are subject to weather, air traffic, mechanical, and operational factors. While we and our operators make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain schedule, on-time performance cannot be guaranteed.
